Industrial Construction Veteran Joins Western Utility

Paul DukeWestern Utility, a construction leader throughout the Midwest providing telecom, electric, pipeline, water and sewer construction and maintenance services, recently announced the addition of industrial construction industry veteran, Paul Duke, who joined the firm as senior project manager and recently stepped into the directors role for the Telecommunications Team. With nearly 35 years of industry experience, Duke will be responsible for overseeing projects in the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest.

Duke comes to Western Utility having worked for large engineering and telecommunications contractors in Illinois throughout his career in the construction industry.  He has nearly 35 years of experience managing large capital projects in the telecommunications industry, with specific experience with an array of telecommunication projects, from new site builds, network upgrades, fiber optic design and build, to OSP route design and permitting, LTE build outs, VoLTE builds, small cell, and DAS.

Duke holds a B.S. in building construction management from Michigan State University.  He will work from the company’s University Park, Ill., headquarters.
