Western Utility is proud to have worked hand in hand over the years with ComEd. Recently, we have been awarded and successfully completed 138-kV transmission line tie-ups to support the City of Chicago water & sewer infrastructure improvements, dewatering pipeline work in the Chicago Freight Tunnel – in which limited contractors are approved to conduct work, and transmission pipeline preventive maintenance repairs in 2015.
The following is a testimonial that recently came from Marvin Landeros, Transmission & Substation Manager, Substation Operations Chicago, ComEd, who was promoted from ComEd’s Transmission Underground & Corrosion Engineering Operations. We are proud of our work at ComEd and look forward to continuing our work with the power producer and Mr. Landeros.
“ComEd has endeavored into multi-faceted improvements, with focus on reliability, reduction of our environmental impact and excelling in our customer experience. This effort could only be accomplished with contractor partnerships like we have established with Western Utility. WU has stepped forward with competitive estimates, safe work practices, and quality work. Understanding Western Utility’s capabilities has allowed us to now grant you Transmission Pipeline preventive maintenance repairs in 2015. Please continue the professional, quality and safe work.”
